Job Description:

 

We are looking for an experienced individual with well rounded functional & technical experience working with Microsoft Dynamics/GreatPlains ERP package. Prior hands-on technical experience in customizing/adding extensions to GreatPlains is a must. Must have solid technical experience in Microsoft technologies primarily .NET as well as experience working with third party products to be integrated/interfaced with GreatPlains.

• Observe and comply with established software build, coding and archiving procedures, software documentation standards, SDLC, and testing methodologies.
• Analysis, technical requirements definition, and design of application and interface components necessary to deliver software solutions.
• Demonstrated understanding of application concepts including tiered architectures, application programming interfaces (APIs), adapters, connectors or other interfaces for moving information into and out-of applications, job/process scheduling and application performance tuning.
• Experience in integrating with backend systems, custom applications, and 3rd party applications. Experience integrating third party services/packages (Payment Processing, PayPal, GoogleCheckout, Amazon services, Credit/Bank transactions, Tax calculation services etc.) is a huge plus.
• Experience with information management technologies, such as data warehouse, data mining, business intelligence, and enterprise portals. Interfacing with vendors for necessary software upgrades & fixes
• Database experience in MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Query optimization, ADO.NET is must.

 

Technical Skills:

.NET (VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET), MS SQL Server, SQL/TSQL, JavaScript, Dexterity, XML Technologies, WebServices, MS SharePoint etc.
