Functional Responsibilities:

Provide production support function in a highly complex multi-tiered IP/VoIP Order entry/provisioning system. Create and develop software solutions to application errors reported. Support development and testing efforts. Must be willing to work night shifts.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or related and minimum of 5+ years experience in an IT support role. Ability to communicate effectively verbally, work independently and write effectively. Must have strong analytical skills and abilities, attention to detail, exceptional follow-through. Solid understanding of multi-tier application architectures including performance implications, scalability and reliability. Experience in web development using JAVA, JavaScript, HTML,Oracle, PL/SQL,STRUTS MVC J2EE framework and XML/XSLT technologies. Experience with web services technologies such as Axis. Experience in Database Systems and Application Servers such as Oracle, Jrun and middle-ware technologies. Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Strong Experience in using PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Sequences, Packages and Views. Problem and change management tools, such as Clear Case, Mercury Quality Center(MQC). UNIX shell scripting experience. Must have excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Experience with VoIP-related systems/functions strongly desired.
